Russo Brothers Confirm AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Part 1 and 2 Will be Retitled

Looks like AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR co-directors Joe and Anthony Russo aren't big fans of the upcoming two-part Avengers movie titles. When asked, Joe disclosed that these films will be two separate movies and his brother Anthony added that the currently titles are misleading right now.

So the Russos have confirmed to Uproxx these movies will be retitled.

“The intention is we will change it, we just haven’t come up with the titles yet," Joe confirmed. "But, yes, we will change it. And, yes, that is a scoop: we will retitle them.”

How the retitling of Infinity War will go down might be saved for a hopeful Hall H presentation by Marvel Studios — which is not confirmed as of the publishing of this post — at San Diego Comic-Con this July.

And just for the heck of it, here's title suggestions: 'Avengers: Infinity Gauntlet' for the next Avengers movie and then just using the title 'Avengers: Infinity War' for the fourth Avengers film.

The currently-titled AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR movies will shoot concurrently at Pinewood Studios in Atlanta at end of this year.
