Holy crap... he finally confirmed it!
After months of talking in circles about the possibility of an Iron Man 4 movie, Robert Downey Jr. officially confirms he's in negotiations with Marvel Studios. This happened during his appearance on The Ellen Show and here's the back and forth transcription (via TheWrap) between Downey and Ellen DeGeneres, followed by the video clip.
“I know there's going to be more Marvel movies, and they have big ideas of how to do it best,” Downey hedged at first. “We're in the middle of negotiations, blah blah blah.”
“So yes?” Ellen pressed.
“Ok, yes,” Downey admitted.
So there you have it. No more jokes and no more confusing talk about it. Downey has officially confirmed he's in talks with Marvel Studios to return... for something.
