Sony Sets Release Date For SILVER AND BLACK; Plus Rumored Plot Details Emerge

Sony Pictures is going all-in with their own Marvel Movie Universe as they have green lit two Spider-Man spin-off movies, VENOM and SILVER & BLACK.

VENOM, which stars Tom Hardy, will not have an appearance by Spider-Man and it's the same for SILVER & BLACK. The latter, female-led spin-off, now has an official release date of February 8, 2019 and it will begin filming in early 2018.

There is also a rumor making the rounds about the potential plot of SILVER & BLACK. This comes from the That Hashtag Show, who claim the plot will revolve around Silver Sable, who is a bounty hunter. Black Cat is being pursed by Silver Sable but they will need to team-up when Spider-Man villains Scorpion and Tarantula are after Black Cat.

No confirmation has been made about any of this, so take it all as rumor for right now.

Both VENOM and SILVER & BLACK will not be a part of Marvel Studios' cinematic universe where Tom Holland's Spider-Man currently resides.
