SDCC 2017: LEGION Creator Noah Hawley is Developing a DOCTOR DOOM Movie

San Diego, Cali -- On Day 1 of San Diego Comic-Con International, LEGION held its panel and creator Noah Hawley dropped a non-LEGION related bombshell at the end of the panel. He announced to the crowd that he is currently developing a DOCTOR DOOM movie for 20th Century Fox.

“Because I’m at Comic-Con... I wanted to let you know about a movie I’m developing for Fox. The first word is ‘Doctor.’ And the second is ‘Doom.’”

After Fox's FANTASTIC FOUR reboot attempt failed miserably, both critically and financially, this seems like a play by Fox to do their best to maintain the live action movie rights for all-things Fantastic Four. And Doctor Doom most definitely falls under the umbrella of those character rights.

No further information was provided by Hawley. But that fact that his last two TV shows, FARGO and LEGION, have been critical darlings should give Marvel fans confidence in him creating something fantastic and dastardly for the villain.
