It's about time Star Wars fans would get more Lando Calrissian on the big screen. Unfortunately, it won't be actor Billy Dee Williams — fingers crossed Billy Dee shows up in STAR WARS EPISODE VIII and/or EPISODE IX. But that's okay as fans will reportedly get to learn more about Lando's past as TheWrap is reporting a casting search has begun to find an actor to portray a younger version of Lando in the Star Wars spin-off movie for HAN SOLO.
Actor Alden Ehrenreich has already been confirmed to be playing a younger version of the galaxy's most famous smuggler and it seems not only will the spin-off movie show how Han and Chewbacca met but it will reveal history between Han and Lando, too.
HAN SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY releases on May 25, 2018.
