BLACK PANTHER: Michael B. Jordan Has Reportedly Traded in Flames For Villainy

The main cast of BLACK PANTHER is shaping up to be something wonderful. The Ryan Coogler (Creed) co-written and directed movie already has lead actor Chadwick Boseman reprising his role from CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR and yesterday news hit that Oscar winner and Star Wars alum Lupita Nyong'o was in talks, too.

The Hollywood Reporter is now saying that actor Michael B. Jordan has joined the cast, possibly as its villain. This means Jordan will be re-teaming with his Creed director.

If the name sounds familiar it's because Jordan was Johnny Storm (a.k.a. the Human Torch) in last summer's FANTASTIC FOUR reboot. This news does brings into question any interest Jordan may have in reprising his role in any possible FANTASTIC FOUR sequel.

No further information has been reported and Marvel has yet to comment, which is common with these reports since Marvel saves their big announcements for when the main cast is complete or when principle photography begins.

BLACK PANTHER will begin filming in early 2017 and releases on February 16, 2018.
