From Star Wars to Marvel as Lupita Nyong'o is Reportedly in Talks to Join BLACK PANTHER



She may not have been in STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS in her human form, but actor Lupita Nyong'o did all the motion capture acting and the voice work for Maz Kanata. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Oscar winner is now in talks to join Disney's other owned film company Marvel Studios for a role in BLACK PANTHER. Nyong'o will reportedly star opposite of lead actor Chadwick Boseman and it's said she will be his love interest.

BLACK PANTHER immediately became one of Marvel's mot anticipated new tentpole movies after Boseman's amazing performance as T'Challa and the Black Panther in CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR.

BLACK PANTHER is being co-written and directed by Ryan Coogler (Creed), begins filming in early 2017 and releases on February 16, 2018.
