CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR Will be "Heartbreaking" Says Actor Sebastian Stan

CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR is going to change the Marvel Cinematic Universe. How exactly it will change the MCU remains to be seen, but there's probably going to be some sad fans if this movie takes the biggest shocker from its Civil War comic book story arc because Steve Rogers gets shot and dies — although he obviously comes back because no hero really stays dead in the Marvel comics universe.

There's been rumors this could happen in the movie and, possibly with the use of an Infinity Stone, Rogers will then be back for one or both of the AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR films. But that's all assumption that won't be revealed until you're sitting in your theater seat.

Now, there actually looks to be legit sadness at some point in Civil War as Bucky / Winter Soldier actor Sebastian Stan told ET there will be heartbreak in the movie.

"I think it's going to be an epic experience for people. I'm very excited for people to hear and see what side everybody ends up on, 'cause it gets a little heartbreaking."

The actor also disclosed his geek-out moment when Robert Downey Jr. arrived on set as well as how much fun he had on-camera with Paul Rudd.

"It's inevitable not to geek out a little bit around Robert Downey Jr. Just to be around him [and] fight across from him was definitely a highlight!
"I couldn't keep a straight face with Paul Rudd! I'm a huge fan of his, but also he's just so funny and witty and he was always like cracking me up."

CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR releases on May 6.
