Since it released in theaters, Guardians of the Galaxy concept artwork has been posted to company websites who worked on the film across the 'Net. Next up, is you're first look at Atomhawk Design's contribution to Marvel Studios' newest blockbuster. Atomhawk Design has previously done concept artwork for Marvel Studios for Thor: The Dark World.

ART STUDIO, ATOMHAWK, REVEALS WORK ON GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY MOVIE
Digital art and design studio, Atomhawk Design, have released the first images from their work on Marvel's latest blockbuster, Guardians of the Galaxy.
Atomhawk spent over a year working with the Marvel team on the action-packed space adventure, producing a broad range of artwork for the film, digitally painting the images on which scenes and spacecraft from the film are based.
The film has now grossed $612m worldwide.
Atomhawk Director and Founder, Ron Ashtiani, says:
"Guardians has been an awesome and truly inspiring project to work on. As our second Marvel project, Guardians presented a fresh set of challenges. This time we were tasked with reimagining a Marvel comic from scratch, rather than working with an existing film franchise. The team relished in the creative license this gave us and I think this feeling is evident in the work we produced."
Four members of the Atomhawk concept team were involved in the project, designing spacecraft, key locations and key action shots.
Ashtiani says:
"The highlights of working on the film were the creation of the Milano spacecraft, which demanded a huge amount of detail and complexity, the Kiln Prison and the severed head of a giant floating celestial being, known as "Knowhere".
The team look forward to sharing their work on a third Marvel movie very soon.
