BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN Rumor: Is 'Lost' Star Terry O'Quinn Being Eyed For LEX LUTHOR Now?

Marvel Studios may have just released Thor: The Dark World and are owning the box office headlines (and dollars) right now but Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment are easily owning the rumor mill headlines as of late. It seems like every few days a new rumor hits the web about Batman vs. Superman.

Last week there was a ton of talk about Wonder Woman and this week it appears will be the week of the Lex Luthor rumor as a new name has rumored to emerged. Previously, the only other names rumored to be associated with the villain role have been Bryan Cranston and Mark Strong. Add a former 'Lost' star to the list as well.

According to Comic Book Therapy—who found the info via SupermanSuperSite and via Man of Steel Fanpage—the rumor is actor Terry O'Quinn is now on Warner's shortlist for the role of Luthor. Also, it needs to be said that besides Comic Book Therapy the other two websites are not well known so their accountability with rumor reports like this needs to be noted.

But this is one of those rumors that had to be reported by The Daily SuperHero. Reason being, just like with Cranston, O'Quinn is an Emmy award winning actor for his work on 'Lost' and could be a great fit. The only potential issue with this rumor is O'Quinn's age, 61, and it is not known if that could be an issue since Luthor could be a recurring villain in DC's movie universe. (Cranston is 57 though and not far off in age.)

With Easter Eggs for LexCorp in Man of Steel, it's only a matter of time until word gets out if Luthor will really be in Batman vs. Superman or not. Until then, some rumors are definitely worth relaying to fans... like this one.
