Outside of AVENGERS: ENDGAME releasing in less than a month, and SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME coming out this July, Marvel Studios hasn't officially revealed any information about film projects they are working on.
Of course there's been some reports and leaks (and logic based on past movie performances) that the studios is in fact working on developing a BLACK WIDOW solo movie, BLACK PANTHER 2, DOCTOR STRANGE 2, GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3, CAPTAIN MARVEL 2, as well as THE ETERNALS.
THE ETERNALS is the studios' next step into expanding a cosmic world the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise and THOR: RAGNAROK have helped to create and grow. The basic concept of the cosmic group is they are highly superpowered beings who are nearly immortal and are one of two factions, with the other being the Deviants, created by the Celestials. According to The Hollywood Reporter, actress Angelina Jolie is in talks to star in THE ETERNALS in an undisclosed role. THR writes:
"While details about the movie are being kept under wraps, sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that one aspect to the story involves the love story between Ikaris, a man fueled by cosmic energy, and Sersi, who relishes moving amongst humans. It is unclear who Jolie will play. Marvel had no comment."
THE ETERNALS is rumored to begin filming later this year and will be directed by Chloe Zhao.
