UPDATE: Jeremy Renner Broke Bones in Both Arms But it Won't Affect AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Filming

UPDATE 7/10/17: Renner has clarified to TheWrap that these injuries did not happen on the set of AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR and occurred while filming another movie. He hasn't even start filming his Infinity war scenes.

If you've never broken a bone then it's hard to explain it unless you've experienced it. I've broken my nose, and both hands and the best way I can describe the pain is to say that you feel sharp, shooting pain through your bones, at least in my case. It's such a weird feeling if you think you have a broken bone, but you're not feeling a type of pain you've never felt before, then you probably didn't fully break anything. (Disclaimer: I am not a doctor and this is in my own experience.)

Anyway, actor Jeremy Renner has recently felt lots of pain as he broken both his arms — technically his right elbow and left wrist via Variety — doing a stunt in AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR. Check out the photo his posted to Instagram a few weeks back.

Based on this photo, it seems like these broken bones will not keep Renner out from continuing his work as Clint Barton / Hawkeye as AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR films at Pinewood Studios in Atlanta. He use of his arm and wrist will be limited but he will be able to do scenes with his stunt double taking over all the stunts while he is healing. No word on what kind of stunt injured him.

While I cannot speak on the topic of his broken elbow, since I've never had that broken, his wrist / hand should be fully healed in approximately 4-8 weeks depending on the severity of the crack / break. (Disclaimer: Again, I am no doctor.)

AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR releases in the U.S. on May 4, 2018.
