D23 Expo: Guardians of the Galaxy Are Coming to Epcot; The Avengers and Spider-Man Are Coming to Disneyland

Anaheim, Cali. -- During Disney's Parks presentation it was abundantly clear the House the Mouse built is going into a full blown transition to make their theme parks in the U.S. much, much better in the coming years. You've already seen some of the new additions with the newly titled Star Wars Galaxy's Edge (we'll have a full video piece on that coming very soon discussion everything!) park coming, Toy Story Land set to open in summer 2018, the Guardians of the Galaxy Mission: Breakout ride in Disneyland and much more.

Speaking of Disneyland, based on the success of the changeover of the new Guardians ride, Disney took the opportunity at D23 to announce both the Avengers and Spider-Man will be coming soon the the Anaheim park, in some capacity. No further details were made about how these heroes will be included, but a confirmation was made the heroes are most definitely coming to the park down the road.

Moving over to the East Coast at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, many changes are coming for its 50th anniversary in 2021. A TRON ride is coming to Magic Kingdom, a RATATOUILLE ride is being added to Paris in Epcot and the front entrance of Epcot is getting a huge makeover.

But that's not all for Epcot as it was also confirmed the Guardians of the Galaxy heroes will be integrated into Epcot marking the first time Disney's Marvel properties are coming to the Orlando-based parks. It will be an E-ticket ride where Rocket has found an old photo of a young Peter Quill at Epcot decades ago so he comes to the park to investigate.
