AGENTS OF SHIELD and INHUMANS Move to ABC's "Death Slot" on Friday Nights This Fall

ABC has moved both of their Marvel television shows to what is known in the TV industry as the "death slot" — because shows go to that time slot and then get canceled — for TV shows on Friday nights. You read that right... ABC has moved AGENTS OF SHIELD, and will debut INHUMANS, on Friday nights this fall.

Either ABC is trying something new to revamp their Friday night ratings or they are done with INHUMANS, before it even begins, and want closure for AGENTS OF SHIELD. While we are being speculative in that last sentence but it's not a good look for either show, regardless.

ABC has also moved the next season of ONCE UPON A TIME to Friday nights leading INHUMANS which will then see AGENTS OF SHIELD takes the INHUMANS' time slot after the INHUMANS' 8-episode first season end. So take that how you will when it comes to the future of that show, too.
