On THE LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT, Ryan Reynolds joined Colbert for one of his bits and both the actor and host took turns making fun of Green Lantern. Reynolds asked him what superpower he would want and Colbert went with a power ring he could control with his imagination. Reynolds quipped back saying "that's a really dumb power."

Reynolds has been rumored to possibly be in the running to return as Hal Jordan in the GREEN LANTERN CORPS movie, but that rumor sounded like garbage right away. He has made fun of his role in GREEN LANTERN so much it seems impossible for Warner Bros. to ever want him to return to the role. And he shouldn't want to because he has his DEADPOOL franchise now.
