Ryan Reynolds Most Definitely Wants a DEADPOOL / WOLVERINE Movie

We here at DailySuperHero.com try very hard to not share every single rumor that hits the web. Most times they are from questionably credible sources and a few times they come from more reputable outlets and are a hot topic of discussion worthy of sharing to readers. This is what happened yesterday when rumor hit that actor Ryan Reynolds allegeldy filmed a secret scene as Deadpool for actor Hugh Jackman's next Wolverine movie, LOGAN.

Once we hit the publish button both Reynolds and LOGAN director James Mangold were quick to debunk it in their own magnificent ways. Mangold, specifically, referenced that the source of the rumor was just as bad at providing fake news as a political website known for stretching the truth in their news reports.

Despite being debunked by actor and director, the silver lining here is that this rumor has prompted Reynolds to go public, once again, in sharing his want for a legit DEADPOOL / WOLVERINE team-up movie via his Twitter account.

"I want a Deadpool / Wolvie film. But Logan is its own unique & perfect thing. The Big Red Shit-Talker wouldn't mix with the tone [of LOGAN]."

This isn't the first time Reynolds has shared his desire to team-up with his friend Jackman in a movie starring Deadpool and Wolverine. In early December, Reynolds urged his fans to hype up a DEADPOOL / WOLVERINE team-up film as well as to persuade Jackman to put his retirement on hold for this hopeful movie. Here's what Reynolds said early this month:

“I want Deapdool and Wolverine in a movie together,” says Reynolds. “What we’re gonna have to do is convince Hugh. If anything, I’m going to need to do what I can to get my internet friends back on board to help rally another cause down the line.
“Hugh Jackman is one of the best human beings. Part of the reason I want to do a Deadpool/Wolverine movie is not just because I think the two would light the screen on fire but I genuinely love the guy.”

Indeed it would "light the screen on fire" if Deadpool and Wolverine shared a title card and screen time in a movie. It has the potential blueprint and fanbase to be Fox's first ever $1 billion worldwide Marvel movie.

Mr. Studio Executive at Fox, are you listening? Fans everywhere seriously hope you are because this team-up movie seems like a no-brainer as long as Jackman can push back his mutant retirement for just one more movie.

LOGAN releases on March 3, 2017 and DEADPOOL 2 begins filming in Vancouver in early 2017.
