DEADPOOL Receives Golden Globes Nominations For Best Picture and Best Actor

Who says award season doesn't appreciate super hero movies? The academy loved writer and director Christopher Nolan's Batman. But they really loved actor Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker and he won a posthumous award for Best Actor.

The Golden Globes has officially announced their nominations and DEADPOOL has received two of the highest honors. DEADPOOL has been nominated for Best Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy and Ryan Reynolds has been nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy.

Congrats to Team Deadpool and to Reynolds for the nominations! The Golden Globes will air on January 8, 2017 and be hosted by Jimmy Fallon.

DEADPOOL 2 begins production in early 2017 in Vancouver.
