AQUAMAN Adds Patrick Wilson to its Cast as Another Villain

AQUAMAN is progressing forward despite the fact it was pushed back 10 weeks earlier this month. With the project now in pre-production, in preparation for filming in the first half of 2017, more casting news will begin hitting the news wires.

First up is word from Deadline that led actor Jason Momoa will share the screen as Aquaman with his comic book half-brother Orm, also known as the villain Ocean Master, who will be played by Patrick Wilson.

Orm is the kind of comic book villain who you'd expect since he is jealous of his brother, Arthur Curry, and wants the throne of Atlantis. As you can probably assume, there could be some sibling rivalry between the two in the movie — which does in fact sound very similar to the relationship between Thor and Loki. Orm is pretty much the equivalent of Aquaman in powers and abilities and to read more about this villain, click right here.

Orm may not be the only villain in this movie as Black Manta is also rumored to be facing off against Aquaman. Warner Bros. and DC Films have yet to confirmed either villain as of the publishing of this post.

AQUAMAN releases in theaters on October 5, 2018.
