AQUAMAN Will Reportedly Begin Pre-Production This Month in Australia

Last month a rumor hit the web claiming that AQUAMAN was going to be filming in Australia. Today, this rumor is closer to becoming truth as it's being reported the film will begin pre-production later this month, per Australia's Gold Coast Bulletin.

"Aquaman will go into pre-production on the lot at Village Roadshow Studios later this month once crew members finish dismantling the epic sets used for Marvel’s rival comic/film blockbuster Thor: Ragnarok."

And there's this, too.

Director James Wan was scouting filming locations for AQUAMAN about two months ago so it seems like everything is lining up for this information to be correct. Warner Bros. and DC Films have yet to confirm this as of the publishing of this post.

AQUAMAN releases on July 27, 2018.
