Warner Bros. Shifts Producer Roles on JUSTICE LEAGUE and in Their DC Films Division

At this point it's certain to say the former DC Extended Universe braintrust at Warner Bros. is now much different than it was at the beginning of this year. Previously, it consisted of producers Charles Rovan and Deborah Snyder, director Zack Snyder, Warner Bros. executive Jon Berg and DC CCO Geoff Johns.

Today's news has brought more change as The Hollywood Reporter states that Rovan will allegeldy shift his role moving forward from hands-on producing all of DC Films' movies. Rovan may still serve as producer for films he's previously worked on, if they have sequels, so this means MAN OF STEEL, BATMAN V. SUPERMAN, SUICIDE SQUAD and WONDER WOMAN. But his day-to-day hands-on production role for all DC movies is "evolving" per THR.

Rovan has been the producer on JUSTICE LEAGUE, since it starting filming last month, but now new (alleged) DC Films co-head Jon Berg is reportedly being added on to the day-to-day producing needs for the big ensemble movie.

This leaves the door open for Warner Bros. to either keep Berg as the producer of all upcoming movies on DC Films' schedule or perhaps bring on another producer, or two. It's most likely the latter as DC Films will begin producing three DCEU movies per year starting next year since three DCEU movies will release in 2018.
