JUSTICE LEAGUE: Warner Bros. Reportedly Has a Complete Script

In Entertainment Weekly's new San Diego Comic-Con 2015 issue (available July 3) the news outlet is reporting screenwriter Chris Terrio has already completed his script for JUSTICE LEAGUE. Details were not provided by EW so it is unknown if it is the final script or just the first draft of the script, but since JUSTICE LEAGUE does not come out until 2017 it seems to be logical to say it is not the final draft.

Both Terrio and director Zack Snyder were said to have locked themselves in a room together and they used comic book creator Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns as inspiration for some of the story.

“Chris would talk and I would draw it and it was basically this weird mural of the movies with no words," Snyder told EW.

If it involves Batman on the big screen, Miller's The Dark Knight Returns is pretty much the 'Batman Bible' for the big screen inspiration. Snyder said it also influenced BATMAN V. SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE and writer/director Christopher Nolan has said it was inspiration for his Dark Knight Trilogy as well.
