Director Peyton Reed Teases the Possible Growth of ANT-MAN in Future MCU Movies

ANT-MAN is out in theaters right now which means it's time for Marvel Studios to talk and tease about what is in Scott Lang's future. Director Peyton Reed did just this when he sat and spoke with ScreenJunkies, transcribed by ScreenGonzo.

“Listen, I think with Hank Pym and Scott Lang, and with that technology, I think it’s safe to say at some point somewhere you’re going to see some real GROWTH [looks at camera] for that character. I hedge my bet there, because it could be sort of growth as a human being, emotional growth, or literal giant growth. There’s a good chance of that.”

For those who do not know, he is referring to Giant-Man. In the comics one of Hank Pym's alter egos was the hero Giant-Man. He is pretty much the opposite of Ant-Man because instead of becoming tiny, Giant-Man becomes really big. The classic Giant-Man, in the comics, is somewhere in the 12-feet range (3.6m) while one in the old Ultimate Marvel universe could grow as big as 60-feet tall (18.2m).
