Suicide Squad is in the middle of its pre-production phase right now. And according to The Hollywood Reporter it will begun principle photography and production in April 2015 at Pinewood Toronto Studios. Filming will take place for approximately six months and wrap sometime in September 2015.
The trade website also reports that actors are finalizing their respective deals for roles in the film. The actor list includes: Jared Leto (reportedly as Joker), Tom Hardy, Jai Courtney and Margot Robbie (reportedly as Harley Quinn).
Directed by Fury director David Ayer, Suicide Squad is about a misfit group of villains who get a shot at redemption and are sent on a mission which is deemed impossible to survive. Or at least that's the gist of the story from the comic book universe. The movie adaptation story still remains to be confirmed with a synopsis from Warner Bros.
Suicide Squad releases in theaters on August 5, 2016.
