Marvel Studios May Have Found its Cyclops For the X-MEN Movie

As the days get closer to Disney's D23 Expo 2026 next weekend, more casting news continues to leak out for Marvel Studios' X-MEN movie.

Variety reports:

"Kit Connor looks to be the next actor to join the sprawling Marvel Cinematic Universe.

"The rising star, best known for the TV series 'Heartstopper,' is being eyed to play Cyclops in Disney and Marvel’s upcoming 'X-Men' reboot. Cyclops, whose government name is Scott Summers, hones his powers through powerful beams of energy from his eyes. Should his deal close, Connor will appear alongside Samara Weaving, who was recently announced as the villain-turned-hero Emma Frost. Jake Schreier, who helmed last year’s 'Thunderbolts,' will direct the superhero adventure."
