October has been an important month for Marvel Studios because it's when they release the first trailer of new movies coming the following summer. On Tuesday October 23 2012, Marvel released the first trailer for Iron Man 3. On Friday October 25, 2013, they released the first trailer for Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
While it's been a trend to release a first trailer in the 20s of October, the past two years, it is not guaranteed that Marvel Studios will release the first official look at Avengers: Age of Ultron but there's definitely a chance of it happening. Coincidence or not, there is a clear trend via upload dates of past trailers to Marvel's YouTube account.
However, some websites have firmly reported that the first trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron will happen before either Big Hero 6 or Interstellar on November 7. Marvel has not released first trailers so late but the sequel to Avengers could be an exception to the rule. One of The Daily SuperHero's own insiders has told me they are hoping to release one sometime in November or December and are targeting next year's Super Bowl (in February) for another trailer debut for Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Maybe fans will get the first trailer much sooner than my own insider has implied... and honestly, if that does happen no one will care because everyone will be talking about the trailer instead.
