IRON MAN 4: Robert Downey Jr. is Now Biting His Tongue When Talking About Tony Stark's Future ... Again

It's getting to the point where when Robert Downey Jr. talks about his future as Tony Stark in a potential Iron Man 4 movie it's the same old song and dance. He's been talking in circles and has been a master of twisting words into confusion the last few weeks (and months).

This should be considered the normal now. And even if/or when Downey and/or Marvel Studios announce a potential Iron Man 4 movie, many fans may not believe it. No different than the fable of The Boy Who Cried Wolf too many times.

In an interview with The Telegraph, Downey was asked about Iron Man 4 and his response is non-committal now... and again.

"He's similarly cryptic when asked I put the question to him. Do Marvel have plans for an Iron Man 4? 'Not that I’m aware of.' Is that the end of Iron Man? 'Not that I’m aware of.' He just appears in Avengers movies? 'Avengers was another opportunity, but they’re not talking about Iron Man 4. I was kind of bombed out to tell the truth, but maybe they’ve got bigger fish to fry and I trust their overall vision. The funny thing about these genre movies is you’d think they were national secrets.'"

Sooner than later Marvel Studios will reveal more of their future plans for the Marvel Cinematic Universe and what Downey's role as Stark and Iron Man is in it moving forward. Fans just need to be patient. (Easier said than done.)
