DOCTOR STRANGE: Ethan Hawke is the Latest Rumor But Joaquin Phoenix is Still No. 1 on Marvel Studios' List



Guess what? Another unreliable rumor about a potential Doctor Strange actor is making the rounds across the web from an increasingly unreliable source. This source will not be named because they have said two other actors have been signed on and rumored within the past 8-9 months. Sounds harsh, I know, but until they actually have a correct 'scoop,' their work will be highly criticized.

So who's the next on this site's South Park-inspired Manatee created list? Actor Ethan Hawke.

An obvious choice of guess work because Hawke recently starred in Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson's new movie Sinister. A child could have connected the dots on this one.

Anyway, don't get your hopes up on this one because this unreliable source has claimed Jon Hamm was hired and signed on for Doctor Strange and then followed that up a few months later saying Jack Huston was in the running. Meanwhile, reliable sources like Collider.com — who have legit insider sources — continue to report that Marvel Studios is still finalizing a deal with actor Joaquin Phoenix as Doctor Strange.




Believe who you want to believe but it's tough to not believe a legit source like Collider.
