Last night Marvel's Agents of SHIELD introduced actor Adrianne Palicki as Bobbi Morse, also known as Mockingbird. Confirmed to be in multiple episodes, the expert SHIELD agent in the comic book universe looks to be an important character in the television series moving forward.

In last night's episode, Morse was introduced as a head of security for Hydra and it wasn't until the end of the episode when it was revealed she was undercover for SHIELD (Duh!). After Morse's reveal, she then joined up with
Co-creator, executive producer and showrunner Jed Whedon spoke about the addition of Mockingbird to Agents of SHIELD in more detail on Marvel.com.
"Bobbi Morse is a well-seasoned spy whose ability to slip in and out of undercover situations seamlessly will prove invaluable to our team. But her appearance comes as a gut-punch to Hunter, as the history they share is complicated to say the least."
