Paul Giamatti Confirms More RHINO in THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 3

Back in July, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 director Marc Webb spoke about actor Paul Giamatti's role as Aleksei Sytsevich and Rhino in the sequel. One of the more interesting things Webb said was Rhino's role was minimal in next summer's Spidey sequel.

Jamie Foxx's Electro is now known to have the major role in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 as the Web Slinger's main antagonist. So after Webb's comment about Giamatti having more of a minimal role, it was thought that Rhino was being saved for either the planned 2016 or 2018 Spider-Man sequels.

Now, according to an interview with Collider, Giamatti has confirmed he will indeed be in The Amazing Spider-Man 3 but he does not know if he will be in the fourth film in the rebooted franchise. Giamatti has been seen on set of the Spidey sequel during this past summer in the giant apparatus that will be turned into the Rhino suit in post-production computer graphic effects and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is only being used as the origin story for Rhino, while he will definitely get more screen time in the threequel.

Check out the interview with Giamatti below.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 releases in theaters on May 2, 2014.
