THE FANTASTIC FOUR: Fox Reportedly Eyeing Actor Miles Teller to Play MISTER FANTASTIC

Yesterday, it was reported that the official movie title for the Fantastic Four reboot might be the not-too-exciting title of The Fantastic Four. And with production set to begin this fall, casting news should be right around the corner.

The newest casting rumor is courtesy of The Wrap, who is reporting actor Miles Teller (21 & Over, Footloose reboot) is being eyed for the role of Mister Fantastic, a.k.a. Reed Richards. Teller is a rather unknown actor and some Marvel fans may think the 26-year-old is too young to play a role that is traditionally known to be a character in his late-30s, early-40s. (If you need to see what Teller looks like, click on his full name above.)

However, if yesterday's report has any truth to it then casting a younger Mister Fantastic may be the direction Fox is taking with director Josh Trank's reboot. Especially since it could be taking its story basis from Fox Marvel consultant Mark Millar's Ultimate Fantastic Four comic book run. Millar's comic arc told the story of a very young Fantastic Four team. Since Teller is 26 he has a young look to pull off an early-20s Reed Richards.
