Is Casting News Coming and Has the Title For a FANTASTIC FOUR Reboot Been Revealed?

Fox's Fantastic Four reboot has moved from filming in Vancouver to Baton Rouge, Louisiana this fall which should mean casting news will begin very soon. But before casting news hits, it appears the title of the reboot may have been revealed.

According to the website Feature Film Casting, a casting call has been issued for the reboot in both Los Angeles and in Louisiana for extras, doubles and stand-ins for the movie's cast. This implies several cast members may have already been signed but not released to the public yet. (Why else would you need doubles if you didn't already know what some cast members look like?)

Also, the site says the new title of the reboot will be The Fantastic Four and filming is said to begin in September. If this is indeed true, look for casting announcements as soon as possible.

Finally, the website has what looks to be an initial 'story basis' for The Fantastic Four.

"Two friends (who end up being Mr. Fantastic and the Thing), starts with them being very young. An event happens at 16 and changes them, instead of being superheroes, they are basically owned by the government and used as weapons."

Sounds a bit vague for a movie description, however, it does seem to be similar to Fox's Marvel movie consultant Mark Millar's Ultimate Fantastic Four comic book story arc.

The Fantastic Four is set to release in theaters on March 6, 2015.
