The Shawn Levy-directed STAR WARS: STARFIGHTER has added a villain to go against its antagonist Ryan Gosling. Deadline has the exclusive that the film is adding former Doctor Who star Matt Smith, and writes:"After fighting battles for House Targaryen, Matt Smith is ready to take his next fight to a galaxy far, far, away. Sources tell Deadline that the House of the Dragon star is on board to join Ryan Gosling in Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: Starfighter. Mia Goth is also on board, with Shawn Levy directing the pic. Jonathan Tropper penned the script."
STAR WARS: STARFIGHTER is set to release in theaters on May 28, 2027.
