In a move that should come as no surprise to anyone who has been following the ongoing court case of Kang The Conquerer actor Jonathan Majors, Disney and Marvel Studios have fired the actor just hours after a guilty verdict for reckless assault in his domestic violence trial. Deadline has confirmed the firing with a studio representative as well.
What happens next for the character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe remains to be seen following the exit of Majors as the time traveling villain. In a way, LOKI Season 2 gave the studio a possible path to recast the character and continue on with his villainous story leading into AVENGERS: KANG DYNASTY.
Or the studio can move off the character altogether and finally begin to move toward revealing the highly anticipated debut of mega-villain Dr. Doom into the MCU.
