For those who follow Star Wars this casting announcement was inevitable after months and months of rumors it might happen.
According to Deadline, actress Natasha Liu Bordizzo has been cast as Sabine Wren in the upcoming Disney+ series STAR WARS: AHSOKA.
Bordizzo isn't a well known name, yet, but the character of Sabine she is portraying most definitely as as she was one of the lead characters in the animated series STAR WARS: REBELS.
Production rumors currently claim that AHSOKA will begin filming very soon and is eyeing its debut for sometime in the first half of 2023.
