Marvel Studios Hires Nia DaCosta to Direct CAPTAIN MARVEL 2

Seems like things are finally moving in a positive direction for Marvel Studios after months of shutdowns and production halts.

Deadline has revealed the studio has landed their director for CAPTAIN MARVEL 2 in Nia DaCosta (CANDYMAN).

DaCosta takes the helm from CAPTAIN MARVEL directors Anna Bodin and Ryan Fleck, who co-directed the first film to box office successes over $1.1 billion worldwide.

CAPTAIN MARVEL 2 is currently scheduled for release on July 8, 2022.
