Disney Pulls NEW MUTANTS Release Due to Spreading Virus; BLACK WIDOW Still May 1... For Now

The Coronavirus (COVID-19) has taken hold of this planet and just a few days ago big blockbuster films began pushing back their release dates. The James Bond movie NO TIME TO DIE was moved to November, FAST 9 is now coming out in spring of next year, and now Disney will no longer release NEW MUTANTS on April 3.

Per The Hollywood Reporter:

"Disney is pushing the release of its upcoming live action tentpole Mulan amid growing concerns around the coronavirus, the studio said Thursday. The movie was set to hit theaters in North America on March 27.

"Also being pushed is the long delayed New Mutants, which was due out April 3 via 20th Century Studios, and the Guillermo Del Toro-produced Antlers, which was et for an April 17 release via Searchlight Pictures.

"Disney is looking into a new release date for all of the titles later this year."

While no word has been made by Disney, Marvel Studios, or any of the Hollywood news outlets about BLACK WIDOW moving its release date, the film is standing strong with its May 1 release. Although, things are changing so fast right now as the virus spreads across the U.S.
