VENOM 2 is getting a second villain, besides Carnage, to go toe-to-toe against Venom.
According to Variety actress Naomie Harris has been cast in the role of the Shriek. In the comics, Shriek is the romantic interest of Carnage who also has the power of flight and sound manipulation which includes sonic shields and blasts.
Harris joins a main cast that includes Tom Hardy and Woody Harrelson reprising their roles as Eddie Brock / Venom and Cletus Kasady / Carnage, respectively. Actress Michelle Williams will also return as Anna Weying.
VENOM 2 is directed by Andy Serkis and begins filming soon since its rumored release date is possibly October 2020.
