Actor Jonah Hill is out.
Paul Dano is in as Riddler in writer / director Matt Reeves' THE BATMAN.
The Hollywood Reporter writes the following:
"Dano's version of the character will be named Edward Nashton, the man who in the comics later goes by the name Edward Nygma and adopts the villainous persona. Frank Gorshin and John Astin played the villain in the 1960s TV series, while Jim Carrey played him in 1995's Batman Forever, directed by Joel Schumacher."
Dano will join Robert Pattinson (Bruce Wayne / Batman), Zoë Kravitz (Selina Kyle / Catwoman), and Jeffrey Wright (Commissioner Gordon). Current rumors claim Seth Rogen might be targeted for the Penguin, but that's unverified. Stay tuned as this movie is claimed to have several more villains cast from Batman's Rogue's Gallery.
THE BATMAN releases on June 25, 2021.
