Marvel's CLOAK & DAGGER only lasted two seasons as Freeform has officially pulled the plug on the series.
Deadline reports:
"Freeform has opted not to renew drama Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger for a third season. The news is not surprising as it comes five months after the second season of the superhero series ended its run. I hear the options on the cast expired this week."
This is yet another Marvel television show ending as Marvel is in the process of reorganizing its TV division with former head Jeph Loeb on the outs and Marvel Studios president now overseeing all-things creative as Marvel's new Chief Creative Officer.
It's going to be very interesting to see how Marvel looks in the coming months with the company's creative decision-making flowing down the pipeline straight from Feige to all of Marvel's divisions (movies, comics, TV, animation, digital, games, etc.).
