SDCC 2019: Marvel Studios Returns to Hall H

After taking last summer off from San Diego Comic-Con International, Marvel Studios will return with their always highly anticipated presentation at Hall H.

This news comes from Deadline, who thinks the studio will be bringing the first footage and news from their next film (that is currently in production in Norway) BLACK WIDOW. Also, it is assumed actress Scarlett Johansson could take the stage at Hall H.

There is also the chance that the next big tentpole franchise from the studio could be announced. THE ETERNALS is nearly ready for filming to start (which is said to start this fall) and has already begun rounding out its main cast to include Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, and Kumail Nanjiani.

Then there could be a chance Marvel Studios may announce their next slate of films beyond BLACK WIDOW and THE ETERNALS seeing as how SHANG-CHI and DOCTOR STRANGE 2 are further along in development process and reportedly nearing pre-production for filming as soon as early 2020.

Finally, potential news about all the newly acquired Fox-Marvel properties from Disney's acquisition of Fox brands might take place. Although, Disney's own D23 Expo is taking place about a month after SDCC, this August, so Marvel Studios will definitely save some new announcements for the crowd there, too.
