GHOST RIDER Series Green Lit on Hulu Along With a HELSTROM Series

Since Disney's buyout of all-things Fox included a share of Hulu which makes Disney the majority owner of the streaming platform, many have assumed that Hulu could get more Marvel projects. Specifically more mature Marvel projects. Well, according to Deadline, those who thought that were correct.

Hulu has green lit two new Marvel series for GHOST RIDER and HELSTROM.

Most are familiar with GHOST RIDER as there has been two films starring Nic Cage as Johnny Blaze as well as an appearance by Robbie Reyes' version of the Spirit of Vengeance in AGENTS OF SHIELD. It is being reported that it could be Reyes' version making its way to Hulu but it is unknown if and actor Gabriel Luna will reprise his former role.

HELSTROM is a more unknown property to the mainstream audience. Deadline writes:

"In Helstrom, Daimon and Ana Helstrom are the son and daughter of a mysterious and powerful serial killer. The siblings have a complicated dynamic as they track down the terrorizing worst of humanity — each with their attitude and skills."

Both series will begin filming soon and are set to debut on Hulu sometime in 2020.
