Marvel Studios' LOKI Series Confirmed For Disney+ Streaming Service

While not much has been revealed about it, Disney has officially announced that Marvel Studios' first series exclusively for their Disney+ streaming platform will in fact star actor Tom Hiddleston as the God of Mischief.

Here's a snippet from Disney's official press release about the new LOKI series:

"Disney+ is also assembling a live-action series centered around a fan-favorite character from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Iger today confirmed that Marvel Studios is developing a series based on Loki, the god of mischief, to star Tom Hiddleston."

No word on when in the Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline the LOKI series will take place, but most likely will take place before the events of AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR.

LOKI is the first officially announced series coming from Disney's Marvel Studios while two other series are also reportedly in the works with one featuring FALCON AND WINTER SOLDIER and the other featuring SCARLET WITCH AND VISION
