The sequel to last summer's breakout WONDER WOMAN movie has officially begun filming. Titled WONDER WOMAN 1984, it will obviously take place during the year in its title.

The "How?" and "Why?" Steve Trevor has returned for the sequel after his sacrifice at the end of WONDER WOMAN will be speculated over the next year-plus before WONDER WOMAN 1984 releases in theaters on November 1, 2019.
