If you need to consume spoilers, this is for you.
In THOR: RAGNAROK, fans know by now that Hela destroyed Thor's hammer Mjolnir. Well, word on the street claims that in AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Thor will be going on a side adventure with Rocket and Groot to get himself a new weapon. This sure-to-be-entertaining-team-up will travel to Nidavellir to visit the Dwarves who inhabit this world, within the Nine Realms, to get himself a new weapon. And that weapon is none other than Stormbreaker.
To the comic book readers out there, they should already know about this weapon. To the non-readers out there, this is the same enchanted, mystical hammer/axe Odin had the Dwaves of Nidavellir make for the cosmic hero Beta Ray Bill, who, in the comics, was also worthy enough to wield Mjolnir.
Beta Ray Bill will probably not be in AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR at all, but a version of his weapon will be wielded by Thor. In fact, there's a product image of Thor's new weapon that was posted to Reddit.
Right away it looks like Groot will also have a hand in crafting this weapon as its handle mirrors the walking tree alien's body.
