Universal Reportedly in Talks With Warner Bros. to Acquire DC Superhero Licensing Rights For Theme Parks

Now that it is official and Netflix has won the bidding war to purchase Warner Bros. and HBO properties (pending regulator approval) from Warner Bros. Discovery, another report states that Warner Bros. and Universal are potentially in talks to bring DC superheroes to their theme parks.

The report is from Bloomberg, via Attractions Magazine, who said the following...

"...Warner Bros. Discovery Inc. is in talks with theme park operators including Comcast Corp’s Universal resorts business to license its DC comic-book heroes for new rides... Comcast has signaled its desire to add DC’s intellectual property to its parks business.”

With the pending sale of Warner Bros. to Netflix now front and center it remains to be seen how long it could be until a possible licensing deal for DC superheroes in Universal parks could happen and only time will tell.
