Wanted! DailySuperHero.com Needs 2 New TV Beat Writers This Fall

If you're a fan of the type of coverage DailySuperHero.com and you're interested in covering one of the shows that are in need of episode coverage, then I welcome you with open arms as long as you can prove your writing chops. This means I need to see a short resume and/or a link to your LinkedIn page with your writing experience (if applicable).

This is a non-paying writing gig.
So... what content am I looking for coverage on? I am looking for two new writers who will be covering the following TV beats:

  • ARROW (The CW)
  • THE GIFTED (FOX)

You need to be able to write compelling, original and unique content on your own as well use some aggregated content from websites who publish breaking news. Standardized recaps or reviews of episodes are not wanted; your coverage should be something not found on other websites. Add your own opinion, theories, predictions of upcoming events, potential effects of something big that happened, etc., etc. to your post.

If you are brought on to cover any of these TV beats your main requirement is to provide one article per week while a show is airing and in season. When a show is not in season, then you're responsible for posting at least two articles per month. Your weekly contribution should be ready for publishing within 48 hours of a new episode airing.

If you have interest, please email me at thedailysuperhero@gmail.com so we can begin a line of communication but please send your writing resume or link to your LinkedIn page in your initial email along with a short recap of your writing past and passion for covering one of these topics (kind of like a short cover letter). If there's interest based on your past experience, a sample post assignment will be sent by me within 48 hours of your email being sent. Please note: If you are requested to provide a sample post, that sample may also qualify for publishing on DailySuperHero.com regardless of if you are brought in to cover that beat.

While this is not a paid gig, it will be resume worthy if you are brought on. My past editorial experience will be put to good use to help guide (and somewhat train) you to make sure you can provide clean copy which doesn't need much editing each week.

I look forward to hearing from those who are interested and the cutoff date for applying is the end of the day on September 25, 2017.

Good luck,
Daniel Wolf, DailySuperHero.com Founder & Publisher
