SDCC 2017: THE FLASH Movie Will Reportedly Adapt the 'Flashpoint' Comic Story Arc

San Diego, Cali. -- During Saturday's Warner Bros. live action movie presentation, it was seemingly confirmed, without actually being confirmed, THE FLASH movie will adapt the 'Flashpoint' comic book story arc.

This is coming from io9, who also state that if this is happening then it could be a great way to soft reboot Batman from Ben Affleck to a different (and younger) actor as the Dark Knight, as rumored to be the case, since it could introduce an alternate reality.

But don't get too excited about this because THE FLASH is still without a director and when the studio finds one, any current script draft could go through changes no different than how director Matt Reeves scrapped Affleck's script for THE BATMAN to write his own.

THE FLASH is still without a release date, but it is obviously being developed behind the scenes even though it has yet to find someone to helm the project.
