Marvel Studios Confirms Another Fan Theory Regarding a Young Peter Parker Being in IRON MAN 2

This year has been the year that Marvel Studios has heard their fanbase theories and have now confirmed two of them. The first fan theory was how Stan Lee was one of The Watchers since he has appeared in so many Marvel movies. In GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2, you see Stan hanging out with The Watchers chatting about his adventures throughout his Marvel movie cameos.

The second confirmed fan theory is one that actor Tom Holland revealed to Huffington Post, via io9, which is how the little boy seen at the Stark Expo in IRON MAN 2 who was face-to-face with one of Whiplash and Justin Hammer's drones wearing a toy Iron Man helmet is in fact a young Peter Parker.

Iron Man landed next to the boy, blasted the drone giving the kid the impression he shot the drone and blew it up. A fun moment, for sure, and now the theory can be put to rest because it is official Marvel Cinematic Universe canon.

SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING releases in the U.S. on July 7.
