GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 does not release here in the states until this Thursday night (May 4) screenings and then its full roll-out is in all theaters Friday May 5. According to BoxOfficeMojoGUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 bought in an estimated $101.2 million. This, according to Deadline, was done in 37 overseas markets this past weekend including the U.K., Australia, Germany, France and Mexico to name a few of the biggest markets.

Internationally, this past weekend, GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 is up 57-percent against 2014's GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY in the same overseas markets its already opened in. And it is outpacing CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR in several of those spots, too.
