Writer and director Josh Boone has finally landed a release date for his X-Men spin-off movie NEW MUTANTS. Per THR, Fox has set a spring 2018 release for the film that will focus on a new and younger group of mutants on April 13.
Rumor has it actor James McAvoy may reprise his role as Charles Xavier in the movie; and GAME OF THRONES actress Maisie Williams might be the mutant Wolfsbane. However, no casting announcements or confirmations have been made by Fox at the time of the release date announcement when this post was published.
